The online MS in Information Systems offers the Fast App, a performance-based admissions pathway that lets you skip the traditional application and qualify through your success in program courses.

How to join the program

  1. Submit your Fast App

  2. The Northeastern team will review your Fast App and send you an email with a link to enroll.

  3. Enroll in your PBA courses and pay your deposit. Looking for your course enrollment link? Gain access here!

  4. Upon submission of the course enrollment form, you are officially a Northeastern student and enrolled in your selected PBA course(s) to start the next term! This means that you will receive an invitation to complete setting up your Northeastern account and more information on how to pay for your courses. Be on the lookout for these important messages.

Fast App Pathway
Skip the lengthy admissions process. There’s no need for test scores, essays, or recommendation letters—just enroll and start learning.
Earn admission through performance
Show your readiness by completing two designated for-credit courses with a B or higher to qualify for full admission into the degree program.
Flexible, year-round start dates
Begin your studies in January, May, or September. With multiple start points each year, you’re never more than four months from your next opportunity to advance.
Earn credit as you enroll
Enroll directly in Fast App courses to experience the program before full admission. Every credit you earn counts toward your MS in Information Systems degree once admitted.
